Home Additions

Why homeowners hire us for this

We tell you if it doesn't pencil

Setbacks, sewer capacity, and lot coverage get checked before you pay for plans.

Permit work is ours, not yours

We handle submittal, corrections, and every inspection.

Finishes that actually match

Stucco texture, roof profile, and trim matched so the addition doesn't look bolted on.

The existing house stays livable

We wall off and dust-control the tie-in until the new space is dried in.

Home Additions FAQs

What permits are needed for an addition?+

A building permit at minimum, usually with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical sub-permits. Additions also require stamped structural plans in Stanislaus County jurisdictions.

How long does an addition take?+

Typically 4–8 months start to finish. Plan check is the least predictable piece.

Can you build an ADU?+

Yes — detached ADUs, attached additions, and garage conversions.

Will my property taxes change?+

Added square footage is reassessed on the new value only, not the whole property. Confirm specifics with the county assessor.
